Ryalux Carpets Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of residential carpets. Our focus is on the design and creation of innovative and high quality products aimed at both domestic and export customers in a broad range of markets. We manufacture from raw materials to finished product at our sites in Wakefield. As part of our modernisation we are now seeking to recruit and train additional general operatives.

What will you be doing?

Duties include:
  • General warehouse duties
  • Operating Machines
  • Housekeeping

The successful candidate will be results orientated with a real desire to be part of a team, creating high quality products for national and international customers.

The company operates on an average of 40 hours per week basis. Usual shifts are from 6.00am-2.00pm and 2.00pm-10.00pm; however flexibility is required in the busiest periods to work varying shifts. We offer a permanent contract, 28 days paid annual leave rising to 30 days after 2 years (including Bank Holidays), and rising to 32 days after 6 years service (including Bank Holidays), enrolment into the Workplace Pension Scheme, long term career prospects and training opportunities with a competitive salary.

It is preferred that you have English and Maths GCSE (minimum Grade C in each) or equivalent. Experience within a production environment would be beneficial although not essential, as full training will be provided. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
